Q. How much will it cost to get my bike painted?
A. The cost is directly related to your design. The more complicated the design, the higher the cost. Request a quote and you will find that our prices are VERY reasonable.

Q. How do I get my parts to you?
A. I ship with UPS and FedEx on a regular basis. Shipping costs aren’t nearly as expensive as you may think. The basic Harley Davidson tin set, (tank or tanks and fenders) will typically cost less than $60.00 from most anywhere in the country to ship each way. What you save on the cost of the paintjob will cover the cost of shipping MANY times over. When it is returned, it will be insured with enough insurance to cover the paintjob AND replacement cost of the tins, should anything happen. Typically, a H.D. set is shipped with a minimum of $3000. insurance.

Q. How long will my paint job take?
A. I try to schedule the work to keep you riding! The average job will be here between 2 and 3 weeks. During the winter months when it is busy, it COULD take alittle longer.

Q. What kind of materials do you use?
A. I only use TOP QUALITY materials. House Of Kolor, PPG and DuPont are mainly used. Also, EVERY job is stripped to bare metal to ensure the finished job is there to last.

Q. How do I know I’ll be happy with the work?
A. At MaxxMuscle I strive to deliver a job that is BETTER than what you are expecting! During the process, you will receive an email everyday as progress is made on your job. That email will include a description of the work performed, along with PICTURES of the progress. I work VERY closely with the customer during the process. Some emails will have pictures of the design layout BEFORE painting, to verify you like the layout.

Q. I’m not sure of what I want. Can you design a paintjob for me, or do I have to have one?
A. I will work with you to either use a design you have or design something that is completely your own! Also, you will NEVER see YOUR paintjob done on another bike from our shop. We WILL NOT copy another persons design. Custom paint is just what its called, CUSTOM. It should be reserved for only ONE bike!

Q. Is there a guarantee on the job?
A. I stand behind every job that goes out the door. If there is a problem that is due to something related to the job, I WILL make it right. If you drop it in the gravel, I’ll fix it, but something like that will cost you.

Q. How much clear will be on the paint?
A. Your job will have the final graphics/design covered with 3 coats of Urethane clear. Then, it will be wetsanded and re-cleared with 2-3 more coats of clear. Then it will be final wetsanded and go through the buffing process that will leave it with a long-lasting, show quality finish.

Q. Do you do any repair work?
A. Yes, I can handle any repair work nessesary. Small dents and dings are usually included in the cost of the job. Larger repairs can be quoted seperately. I can also do any fabrication work you may need.

Q. Can I get my frame painted?
A. Yes. Frames can also be shipped at a decent rate. I can paint the frame to match or even carry graphic designs over onto the frame. Frame molding is also available.

Q. Do you do Airbrush work?
A. Yes AND no. I do artwork with the airbrush on most jobs, however, I’m not currently doing murals or the “Maiden/Dragons” kind of stuff. I find that it takes ALOT of time to do that work and there are others out there that are specializing in that sort of artwork. If you aren’t sure, just ask.
